Refund Policy
Effective: April 7, 2026
1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with Cartographer. This policy explains when and how refunds are available. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, and all refunds are issued through them back to your original payment method.
2. Pro Monthly Subscriptions
If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a refund under the following conditions:
- Within 14 days of your initial purchase: A full refund is available if you have not made significant use of Pro features (e.g., generating 2K/4K maps or using Campaign Controller).
- After 14 days: Refunds are not available for the current billing period. Instead, you may cancel your subscription from your account settings — you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
- Renewals: Recurring subscription charges are not refundable. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel your subscription before your renewal date.
3. Pro Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions follow a similar policy with an extended refund window:
- Within 30 days of purchase: A pro-rated refund is available for the unused portion of your annual subscription.
- After 30 days: Refunds are not available. You may cancel your subscription, and Pro access will continue until the end of your annual billing period.
4. AI Credit Packs
AI Credit packs are one-time purchases:
- Unused packs: If you have not used any credits from a purchased pack, a full refund is available within 14 days of purchase.
- Partially used packs: Once any credits from a pack have been used, the pack is not eligible for a refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at [email protected].
- Include the email address associated with your Cartographer account.
- Include your order or transaction number (found in your purchase confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy).
Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and returned to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly. Please note that Lemon Squeezy, as the Merchant of Record, may issue refunds within 60 days of a transaction to resolve disputes and prevent chargebacks.
